In a Barbie world, be an Esther

In a world filled with impossible standards, temporary validation, and empty desires, I searched for my worth in all the wrong places. I thought being wanted, successful, pretty enough, or accepted enough would finally make me feel whole. But no amount of attention or achievement could fill the emptiness I carried inside.

I was lonely, broken, exhausted from trying to become someone the world would approve of. I tied my identity to male validation and the opinions of others, believing my value depended on how loved, desired, or successful I appeared. And when those things failed me, I felt defeated.

But God.

God met me in my lowest moments — not when I had it all together, but when I was falling apart. He found me in the middle of my insecurity, my confusion, my pain, and reminded me that my worth was never meant to come from this world. It comes from Him.

He showed me that I am loved without needing to earn it. Chosen without needing to compete for it. Beautiful without the world’s approval. Whole without validation from anyone else.

Where the world told me to strive harder, God told me to rest in Him.
Where the world made me feel not enough, God called me His daughter.
Where I felt empty, God filled me with peace, purpose, and unconditional love.

And that changed everything.
